- 100 g Haferflocken, coarse
- 2 Eier, fresh
- 100 g Zucker, normal or brown
- 1 Päckchen Backpulver
- 1 TL Vanilleextrakt
- 50 ml Pflanzenöl, mild (e.g. rapeseed or sunflower oil)
- 1/2 TL Zimt (optional)

- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the quark and eggs.
- Add the rolled oats, sugar, and baking powder to the quark-egg mixture.
- Stir everything thoroughly until a uniform mass is formed.
- Add a dash of vanilla extract and optional cinnamon.
- Mix everything well again.
- Using a tablespoon, drop small portions of the dough onto the baking sheet.
- Ensure there is enough space between the individual talers.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the quark-taler for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let the baked talers cool briefly on the baking sheet, then transfer them to a wire rack.
- Allow the talers to cool completely.
