Description

A decadent chocolate cheesecake featuring a rich Nutella filling and a crunchy chocolate cookie crust. This no-bake delight is perfect for any occasion and surprisingly easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Base:

  • 200 g Cookies (butter cookies or chocolate cookies)
  • 100 g Butter, melted

For the Filling:

  • 500 g Cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 200 g Nutella
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 3 Eggs (at room temperature)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Agar-agar
  • Cocoa powder (optional)
  • Vegetable cream (for serving)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Base

  1. Crumble the cookies in a food processor or in a freezer bag with a rolling pin until finely crushed. Mix the crumbs with the melted butter until well combined.
  2. Press the cookie-butter mixture evenly into a greased springform pan (approx. 24 cm diameter) and form a firm base. Chill for about 10 minutes to set.

Step 2: Make the Filling

  1. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix cream cheese, Nutella, and sugar. Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition.
  2. Stir in the vanilla extract. Whisk the agar-agar with a little water and add this mixture to the cheesecake filling. Mix everything well.

Step 3: Assemble and Bake

  1. Pour the finished filling evenly over the chilled cookie base. Smooth the surface with a spatula.
  2. Bake the cheesecake in a preheated oven at 160 °C (convection) for approx. 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is set. Let it cool to room temperature, then chill for at least 4 hours (or overnight).

Step 4: Serve

  1. Garnish with vegetable cream before serving and enjoy!
