- Cinnamon (to taste)
- Vegetable Gelling Agent (e.g., Agar-Agar)
- Sweet Fruit Juice (e.g., apple or orange juice)

Dough Preparation:
- Mix flour with baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
- Cream butter with sugar and add the egg.
- Carefully combine both mixtures.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until elastic.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Lightly toast the chopped nuts in a pan.
- Add cinnamon and sweet fruit juice to the nuts and bring to a brief boil until the mixture thickens slightly.
- Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface into a rectangle (approx. 30×40 cm).
- Carefully spread the nut filling evenly over the dough.
- Gently roll from the long end of the rectangle.
- Cut slices about 2 cm thick with a sharp knife and place them on a baking sheet.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (conventional heat).
- Bake the Nuss Spiralen for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the Nuss Spiralen cool briefly.
